The scarcity of solving traffic accidents causing a high rate of victims due to non-compliance with traffic rules as careless or exceeding speed limits and concern by using a mobile phone ;these factors pushed Dr. Jamil Darwish Shaqsy - a professor at Sultan Qaboos University in the Faculty of Economics and Political Science in Information Systems - to search for categorically deterrent solution to break the speed limit.
After years of researching and work of Dr. Jamil Al Shaqsy ؛ finally his efforts appeared by inventing radar device, where this device is installed in the vehicle plate to not affect the shape and aesthetic vehicle with a small screen information inside the vehicle, which shows the driver the speed limit on the street and the speed at which the moving mode is on.
In the case that the driver exceeded the speed limit on the street the device will give a warning to the driver for 15 seconds in order to return to the speed limit, and in the case that the driver did not reduce his speed to the speed limit after 15 seconds, the radar will send an electronic message to the police and will be recorded traffic violation as well as the radar sends a text message to the owner of the car to inform them of violation recorded. Also, In the case that the driver did not reduce the speed of a vehicle will be four offenses recorded per minute.
In addition, this device is sensitive to those who try to tamper with or remove it from the vehicle and will send an electronic message to the police that their learning and there is also a study of the idea of linking this device electricity to the vehicle as soon as tampering with the electricity then the system of electricity will be separated from the vehicle.
